Sparrow-Lark Skirt Pattern Preview

The Sparrow-Lark Skirt is inspired by both the vintage full circle skirts of the 1940s and 50s as well as medieval fantasy. The Sparrow-Lark Skirt will also be interchangeable with other patterns in JMD’s Plum Blossom Line. Stay tuned- A pattern tester call is planned to be sent out soon!

Planned Style Options:

-Full Circle Skirt in 3 Lengths: Short, Midi, and Full with optional lace trim

-Full Circle Handkerchief Skirt in 3 Lengths: Mini (recommended as an overskirt), Short, and Midi

-Flared Peasant Skirt in 3 Lengths: Short, Midi, and Full with optional lace trim

-Cascading Overskirt in 3 Lengths: Short, Midi, and Full with optional lace trim

-Peasant or Princess Apron with optional border variation in 3 Lengths: Short, Knee-Length, and Midi

-Optional In-seam Skirt Pockets

-Medieval Style Ring Belt

-Suspender Clip or Ring Skirt Hikes in 2 Lengths: Short and Long

-Instructions for 3 different Skirt Closure Options: Lapped Side or Back Zipper, Drawstring Waist, or Elastic Waist

-Instructions for cutting the Skirts on the Center Front and/or Center Back Folds

-Two separately drafted size ranges (Marian: 0-16 and the plus-size friendly Guinevere: 14-32)
