Night Heron Pattern Tester Call
Joseon Modern Designs is now looking for testers for the Night Heron Dress, which is closely inspired by a beautifully draped late 1940s dress. Cup Sizes A-H, two bicep options, and illustrated instructions are included with the test pattern.
Testing options include:
Bishop Sleeve with Two Cuff Choices or Long Sleeve with Elbow Dart
High-Neckline Bodice and Slim A-Line Skirt
Bias-Cut Draping
There are several slots open for testers! Full requirements and details can be found in the application form linked to this post. The pattern tester application process will close on Monday, Nov. 18 at 9pm PST. (JMD is based in California). Pattern testers will be notified by Tuesday, Nov. 19 by 9pm, and the test will run until 9pm, Wednesday, Dec. 4 (2 weeks).
Update: The Projector-only pattern test application process will close on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 9pm PST. Pattern Testers will be notified by Sunday, Nov. 24 at 9pm, and the projector-only test will run until 9pm, and the test will run until 9pm, Dec. 9, at 9pm.
JMD is looking for sewers who meet the following criteria:
Are age 18 or older
Are able to print patterns in an A4/Letter format
Are able to make their chosen variation of the pattern and provide feedback within a 2-week period
Possess an intermediate level or above sewing skill and are familiar with their standard pattern adjustments
Are able to photograph themselves wearing the Night Heron dress and give Joseon Modern Designs the right to use submitted photos for pattern marketing and promotional purposes
What Pattern Testers Receive:
This is an unpaid test. However, testers will receive:
A full copy of the finalized E-Pattern in their chosen size range (including an illustrated Fitting Guide) upon completion
A free pattern credit to a JMD pattern of your choosing upon completion (The Magpie Dress is already published and has interchangeable pattern pieces compatible with the Night Heron. I also have several other patterns planned for the near future!)
Sewing and construction support in a closed Facebook tester group (optional)
